Dogfish mmmmmmmmmmm GOOOOOOOOOODDDDD
anybody ever eat one???

Seriously id say BlueGill especially when caught in cold water like throu the ice....i like the consistency of the meat(firmer) a little better than crappie.

seems like every fish tastes better when caught in the colder months as opposed to the dog days of summer.

Largemouth are goood but i dont cut heads on them unless im fishing my buddys Stunt'd Pond then i'll take out a buch of 11-12 inchers and have a fish fry.

Sauger are good... i dont like to kill walleye....northern are good to if you dont mind Y-bones or are good at getting them out...smaller catfish are good as well....i like them all but Gills are the Best

also when frying fish they seem cookwaayy better when cutting the fillets into pieces about 4-5 inches long and use peanut oil at 375 degree, roll em in Fry-Krisp (it's in a big white bagthat looks like regular flour... its flour alreaddy seasoned mmm good makes a good wet batter as well)....only do 3 or 4 peices at a time and they will all be perfect.

Baked and grilled fish are good too
also ive had some verry tastey carp on the grill....wich was suprising....maybee i was just drunk???

i've never kept one of those and always thought they'd probaby be good eatin...i call em "rock bass" or "war mouth"

i usually catch them while catfish'n the rocks during the Spawn...ive caught some pretty big ones too... the biggest isa litle over10 inches(they normally run around 6-8 inches)...and let me tell you that was the hardest fight'n little fish i've ever caught...and damn pretty too...i always let them go.

What I call theWarmouth looks like a bluegill with a bass mouth
I have caught "Black Perch" over a foot long...
If interesteduse nightcrawlers on a texasrigin deep undercut root systemsand near deeper rock ledgesat dusk and dawn.
Chicken Breast works wonders at night.

I always bread in egg and cornmeal.
You may not like it, but I sure do. My second prefered eatin' is about a 3lb channel cat.
