Just got back...hooked into a nice 6 pounder ..I posted it on the tournament thread. I LOVE POWER PRO. All my baitcasters will be filled with Power Pro. YOu can't compare Stren Braid to Power Pro. Power Pro is way beyond that line.
1. Confidence 10
2, Castability 10
3. Un rafflinf knots ariound eyelets 10
I had no digging into my line whatsoever. ..and i broke no rods as well.

AWESOME STUFF
Thanks Oneshot7

Sure enough did..I had cast my Power Pro out there with a Carolina worm on. I got side tracked and left it out there while I worked on another pole. IN about 60 seconds I lifted up ole Power Pro. I felt resistance and my line was moving through the vegetaton. I thought ,"Hey you got 30 pound test set the hook. " Bingo ...the fight was on. I was confident with this line and horsed it to the boat ..netted the fish and have found me a line I have full confidence in.All my baitcasters will be loaded up with Power Pro. I may put 20 on the others. 30 may be too much. I like skinny low visable line.

Power Pro update..

Well I've given ole Power Pro a good work out. I've probably fished with this spool now for 15 hours.

Pros ..decent casting, confidence of not breaking 100% , easy to tie hooks on and unravel around rod tips...does not dig into my spool. hasn't twisted up yet .

Cons...turns whitish color much quicker than Stren Super Braid.

Come on Oneshot&,there are alot of strong line. In a heavy presure area presentation is most important to me. During the spawn the bass are more vulnerable but during the dawg days of summer..I need all the leverage I can get. I just like giving honest reviews Oneshot. Great line but it does change colors right quickly. I don't think it would matter alot if one used the even skinnier line. I'm putting 15 on one of my reels. That is some very thin line and with heavy vetetation the dull whitish look should not effect me getting bites or not. The lakes around my area are heavily fished so you got to knowyou are doing.
