Hey does anyone know why alot of the fish i caught the other day would have been bleeding from their tails...?? The spawn should have already been over..

the males are still sitting on the beds, most likely those were males you were catching. also what part of the nation do you hail from? down in the lower portion of the state of arizona where it is warmer the spawn is well over it started in late february early march. but up here in the mountains where it is alot cooler the bass spawn started 2 weeks ago. so we see bloodied tailed males all the way up to august.
