I have caught more fish on rooster tails than any other fishing lure. They are always my go to lure if nothing else works. I have caught suckers, catfish, trout, largemouth, smallmouth, pickerel, perch, crappie, all kinds of sun fish. The only times they won't spin right is if they are bent. Give a quick pop to start them spinning and they usually work great.
