Motor Question..

I'd get what I could afford. Where I fish a gas motor is not really necessary. For you if you can afford it ...something between 9.9.and 15.HP I fish pits alot so my 40 lb trolling does the trick.

Guitars...AH!and here is why I can't afford the motor. I bought a 1060.00 Ovation Elite XL and a Sigma Martin . I play every night . I have an awesome site I'll send ya. Most tablatures are pay now. Here is a free one. Simply click LESSONS and see what happens. Everything from Metal, Classical , Gospel to Rock. You can here how the song goes plus you are given the tablature. Best site I've found. I took music in college. Been playing for 35 yeasrs. WARNING....Very addictive.

To be honest Bluegrass Gospel
However; on that site there is very little bluegrass so I explore through all of it. I've been learning my scales blues, magor , and minor up the entire neck and practice Hendrix licks and other metal licks for speed work. There are no words so I don't feel too guilty. I just like the licks and riffs. I've been playing since 1971. I plan to get an inexpensiev Strat for my birthday in June. I play about 1 hour a day. How bout you.? They have somenice acoustic stuff on there too.

Yeah those mexican strats are really nice, I'd give them 4 thumbs up for sure, mostly I like to play alot of stuff, from johnny cash, to hardcore metal, but my main influence is Stevie Ray Vaughan, I love to play the blues for sure. What kind of amps do you use? Right now im playing out of a Marshall jcm 900 head, with marshall jcm 900 1960a cabinet. And alot of floor pedals.....

Mine is a cheap amp Pevey but is loud enough for sure.
The Ovation has a pro amp gadget and a built in tuner. I took music in college so I got alot of tools in my headwhich helps me memorize the notes on the fret board , inversions and modulations.I just needed to get challenged. That site I put ya on will last me till I die. I've wondered over to the Jazz, Classical and Blues lessons. I've got a lot to learn. If ya bought that stuff in a music store it wouild b ewell over 1000 dollars n books for sure. There are many lessons attached to other lessons. Exsample ...onelesson of Eric Clapton has about 20 songs.attached. One acousticlesson had about 30.additional songs.

There are guys on here that are much more expereinced with trout than i am. Maybe Guss will reply.I generally fish for bluegills, catfish and bass. I have caught trout before {In Maryland}but I used live bait. I would attach a worm holder to my belt and walk up the edge of a stream. I would simply use a bare hook{Without a weight}because I used night crawlers. I would use a small aberdeen type hook that you would use on bluegills ...hook a lively piece of night crawler on there and throw in a dark hole along the creek edge. My line was no heavier than 6 lb test. If the water is fast ,you may need to attach a BB sized split shot about 6 inches above the hook. This is how I fish for bluegill as well. Light as possible. This is me fishing at my favorite trout stream. During this time you could not switch the handles on the reels so I always fished my reel upside down. I could never get the hang of using my left hand. Anyway..I caught about 2 dozen rainbows and browns here before I joined the military. This was taken in Maryland.
