Default Noodling for fish on TV

Well i was never actually sure what noodling for fish was but i seen it yesterday on this show called Dirty Jobs, and all i have to say is that looks like on hell of a time but kind of crazy at the same time. How you swim around sticking your hand in a hole until the catfish bites your hand then you grab it. Actually its kind of humours and for those of you that do it your lucky and crazy at the same.
