Default Fishing from a kayak??

has anyone ever tried this??? i might be bringing my dad's 15 or 16 ft canoe and his whitewater kayak down from our old house and i was wondering if it's possible to fish from the kayak. i just don't see the point in wrestling a 16ft canoe for one person. just curious. i will use the canoe but i don't want to mess with it too much with only myself and without a trolling motor(i will be getting one for it hopefully).

I fish from my kayak quite a bit... I usually fish the river, so it was a bit trick trying to keep steady, navigate, and fish, but once you get the hang of it it is alot of fun. It's really fun when you hook into a big pike or something and they pull you right up the river!
Good luck
