Default Braided line question?

I have always used mono but last night I bought some Fireline. I was wondering, when tying a lure/hook on, do you use the same knot you would with regular mono or is there something different you have to do? Thanks for any help.

this is the knot i use for braided line, it wont slip
my father in law uses the same knot he uses on mono but puts a dab of superglue on the knot.

I fished with it today. The Tri-line knot /improved clinch knot works great.

Palomar knot is all you need. Powerpro recomends it in its packaging as well. It is the same knot as above, only without the eight twists. No need for them.

That's the correct one. I'm just to stubborn to change.

I use the Palomar knot on my super braids like fire line and power pro, but I also use it on mono. It is a great very strong knot.

OK OK ! I will start using the knot as well. I will practice immediately.I don't want to be the odd ball.

I was a little confused so I pulled up this site for us who need more steps.
