    I have an 18 foot open bow boat that weighs 2500 pounds. My question is does anyone know what size trolling motor to I need?

    Or even a method to figure out what size?

    You are going to want a 50lb thrust or higher. Personally I would get the most thrust you can afford. But the recommended size is 50lb thrust minimum.
