I've called Leupold a couple of times and they were very helpful.I sent a email about a M8 EER Handgun scopes eye relief last Sunday . As of today Wednesday I haven't received any reply.Looks like I'll have to call them instead.

I got a reply last Friday from Leupold. As always great people to deal with.I was having eye relief problems with a new Super Blackhawk hunter.Garth the Leupold tech suggested adjusting the eye piece which I thought was for focus only.I did as he suggested. I loosened up the rings which I could move it back approx another 3/4".That solved my problem. It's sure nice know there are still some companies who care about their customers. My hat's off the Leupold.

As are companies such as ziess and swarovski.
Yes, but the Wind River series doesn't require me to sell one of my kids to buy them! Top service and top optics from Leupold will keep me buying their stuff for life until someone does better.

I've not yet owned a leupold product, and I've seen a lot of people slam them over their price.. saying they're comparable to lower priced scopes made by other manufacturers. That may be true, but I've come to think of it like this: Your buying a scope and the best "extended" warranty ever.

Now, some people will say that companies x, y, and z all have lifetime warranties too, but from what I've heard and read, no company seems to quite as consistantly easy to work with, speedy, or generous with their warranties as them.

I think I'll buy one of their scopes when I can.

I have three Leupold VariX III 3.5-10x 40 mm scopes on my .243, .25-06, and .30-06. The oldest is 2.5 years old, so I haven't put much wear on them yet. It heartens me to hear such positive stories about Leupold reliability (gun dropped on rocks in Africa) and customer service. There may be better scopes, but thus far my Leupolds have been more than adequate for my uses. The light is too dim for me to dare to shoot -- need to confirm target and backdrop, it seems to me, before targeting and shooting -- before I lose the ability to see the target and crosshairs in the Leupold scope. What would a more expensive scope buy me?

Over 34 years ago, when I read articles by Jack O'Connor, I bought a Ruger Model 77 in 270 Win on which I mounted a 4X Leupold. The scope is as good today as it was the day I bought it.

I had to send a couple back for service. They came back with the same problems they were sent in for. My customer had me sell them for him and order a couple Burris. Now he is happy. One of the ones I sent back was foggy inside. The other wouldn't hold zero. I have three or four of them but there are several brands that I like better.
