Not sure who the boneheads were who came up with that list. I guess their standard of excellence is lower than mine. A Remington XP-100 ranked higher than a Browning A-5? A Nylon 66 in the top 20? Makes me glad I don't subscribe to F & S.

I figured the 870 should have been higher up on that list!!!
A 500 S&W????????????? It hasn't been around long enough to know how good it is!!!!
XP-100???? why would that even be on the list????????????
Pre 64 M-70?? I really got a laugh out of that one!!!
There's a few others that will keep me chuckleing too... :>

Totally agree. Also added jarrets and NULA is crazy. Those are more customs.
I own 12 of the top 50. I think the 336 should be much higher.
Guys this should show ya where gunwriters stack up and how accurate thier opinions are.

I think Remington definalty had some "interest" in creating this list, I mean come on an 1100 is better than an A5 or a Gold???? But have you ever owned a Nylon 66??? I have 2 both date mid 70's and have had 1000's of rounds through them with never a problem. As far as semi 22's its tops on my list!!!!

How about the
Browning Hi-Powers,
The Garand,
Colt AR 15-16's
Colt 1911
Sigs
Plus several more could or should be added.
And last but not least The Remington 710 & 597.Opps that was a slip.
