Default remington 673

Im looking for a new rifle to use in upstate New York for deer. From what I've read about the 673 guide series in .300 ultra mag it looks real good to me. Does anyone have anything to say about it?

Get the .350. It's a cool round that looks uglier than hell! Plus it's not a belly button round. AKA: Not everyone has one!

The 673 Guide gun looks cool to me. I like the 300saum but I like the 350 even better. If I were hunting in a area were my shots were 200-yards & under? I would buy the 350.

got the 673 in 350 rem... it handles well, shoots an inch or better with factory ammo, and did a splendid job of putting down a nice buck last fall, one shot and it didnt move, shot was around a hundred yards. It is a nice looking rifle that feels well in the hand, balance just right, and shoots well, and the 350 round is available around here in almost all sporting goods stores ( except wally world) and it only gets better with reloads.

Anyone seen or used one of the Ruger 77IIs or the RBZ in the .350 that they are offering this year?

Ruger rifle with the 350 Rem. Mag also comes with a 24” barrel compared to the 22” barrel for Remingtons 673.

I have the 350 rem, 6.5 rem, and a 243 that's one of 500. So far I've shot the 350 and I must say it's the best shooting rifle that I have. Three shot groups consistently well under 1" and it will be my go to rifle for deer this year.
