Default Gotta toss up between 2.

I am getting ready to purchase a new rifle but I' m stuck on a toss up between the Remington 700 " Sendero SF" and the Sako 75 Hunter.I like the options on both rifles but I am having a personal static storm in my head which to purchase.I like the Sako for it' s reliability and accuracy not to mention it extra saftey features but on the other hand the Remington is a really nice looking piece, known for their accuracy and the weather resistance this weapon will provide. They are both very highly accurate(.5 MOA)and they are both really great looking. The decision is just to hard for me to bear. Please help with so opinions.Sako or Remington(Prices are about the same ,the Sako is about 100$ more than the Remington)................

Sako and never look back.

If it were my money I' d buy anything but a Remington. But that' s just my personal opinion.

I HAVE A SAKO HUNTER, GOT IT BACK IN 1986 IN .30-06, ITS A GREAT GUN. WHEN I BROUGHT THAT GUN, MY FRIENDS FATHER WAS A GUNSMITH WITH HIS OWN SHOP, HE STARTED OUT WORKING FOR STOGER ARMS HERE IN NJ, WHO IMPORTED SAKO. BACK 1986 HE SAYED DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR REMINGTON RIFLES ARE JUST AS GOOD, AND CHEAPER THEN SAKO. TODAY, HE SAYS REMINGTON ISN' T AS GOOD AS THEY WERE, AND THEY DON' T COME CLOSE TO A SAKO. BUT IF COMPARED TO OTHER RIFLES LIKE WINCHESTER, SOME JAPAN MADE WEATHERBYS, BROWNING, THEN HE SAYED REMINGTON IS STILL GOOD. SO I WOULD GO WITH THE SAKO, YOU WILL LOVE THE TRIGGER!!!!

If I could redo my " rack" , I would only own Sako. I just saw a nib 75 .300 RUM for $699 i might buy just because the price is so good. If you decide on Sako, I would STRONGLY recommend you spend the extra dollars for the Optilock mount/rings rather than the Leupy stuff.

There's no question about it. Sako all the way. Remington in recent years their quality control and craftsmanship has really declined.I personally would not buy a new Remington until improvements are made.Check the Tikka's out. They are allot cheaper and the have the Finnish craftsmanship.
