Default Stoeger 2000 semi

Anyone own a Stoeger 2000? I have one and shoots well but I notice that my barrel is not seated all the way down into the receiver. There is about 12 thou. gap between the two. Also when I put my hand around the barrel and forearm at the chamber area and squeeze I have some up and down play. Does anyone have this on their Stoeger also?

Personally I would call Stoger or whoever does their work in the U.S. to check out the situation.
By the way,how much is the 2000 selling for. It looked real interesting in the magazine(course what doesn' t)

I bought a 2000 a couple months ago. I haven' t noticed this problem with mine. I like the gun it performs just as good as any other gun I' ve shot. I had a friend of mine that shoots a benelli semi and he shot my stoeger and thought it actually shot better than his gun. I paid 425.00 for my gun camoed and 5 chokes.
