No I never tried the 3" shells. The regular 2 3/4 s shoot great .My son has been shooting it getting ready for youth season so trying to keep the recoil as lowww as possible.. do you notice a huge diff between the two ???

I use an H&R Ultra-Light Slug Hunter in 12 Ga. I don't do much tree stand hunting so I wanted it light. Mine has one of the red dot type sights which allows for very quick aiming in law light. So far the best grouping comes from the Win sabot rounds with a 50 Cal bullet. Everything I have hit with it has gone straight down.

This little buck came from a state park in VA that had a herd reduction hunt in 2012. The exit wound is visible on the shoulder.

I'd rather compromise action than accuracy so I'll vote 220f

I use a Benelli SuperNova with a 20" Badger rifled barrel. 3x9 scope. Very accurate using Remington Accutips slugs, 3 deer taken @100 yards, 2 being neck shots.

Lol I knew that was comin... Always does...

I've got a ultra slugger from h&r shoots pretty good... My favorite DSG is a REM super slug... Shoots great with Rem accu tips
