No I m not. Like I said, the Bersa has two safeties. A manual lever/decocker and 1/2 cock. In the1/2 cock (which is a safety like a lever action rifle or an older single action revolver)is how the gun was carried. It was perfectly safe and like a revolver required a doubleaction pull to fire. So like I said - do your research before making a fool of yourself.

None of my carry guns have a safety. The safety is called "not pulling the trigger."

Im a fan of Taurus, they make a quality piece. Had a Millienium 45 acp for a while but traded it, too expensive to shoot and not as fun as my revolvers (which are also Taurus).

Is it a Ruger thing or do many people just not care for the LCP? I bought mine as a t-shirt n shorts weather carry as Bronko stated and have had no issues at all with it as a carry piece.
It even comes up missing once in awhile only to find out my wife has grabbed it, (She is former LEO) and has it for a girls night out and she is always the DD (Ditzy Doozy!!) of the bunch. She wears it out shooting it in the backyard and has had no malfunctions, as of yet, nor I.

Second - From the reports/reviews I read the Ruger LCP does have some issues. As for the TCP I only found 2 negative reports on it. One was a trigger issue which may or may not have been resolved as I cannot duplicate it with mine and the other was obviously from a person who didn't know how to handle a pistol (as seen on Youtube). Everyone else had high praise for the Taurus TCP. I personally find it very 'pointable' and really more accurate than needed for its intended use as a close range, get out of trouble weapon.

Half that is why I told you to do your research first before you open up. If you are as knowledgeable as you think you are you should have realized that 1/2 cock is a safe method of carry. There was absolutely no mis-information in any of my posts.

Can we get back to the original question???

Bronko, I carry a Ruger LCP in a leather pocket holster in my back pocket. It rides well and doesn't look like anything but a wallet. It looks like this:

This is a great rig for the summer months!!!

RASOB what model holster is that? I have a codura pocket holster and if I decide to carry the extra mag I normally carry it in another pocket so as to not interfer if I need to draw. I like your model better than mine.
BTW how has your Ruger LCP performed. Like I said I read some bad reports on it. But it appears that several people in here haven't had any issues with theirs. I was shooting round ball ammo out of the Taurus but I bought a box of Hornady Critical Defense but have yet to shoot it to see how it functions in the pistol.

I was wondering the same thing. Here in Phoenix just about everyday is "shorts and Tee-shirt" weather so my carry piece is also a pocket pistol. I went with the Beretta "Tomcat" which is a .32. I know a .32 is not much but as the saying goes better the .32 you are carrying than the .45 you left at home.

I will have to try that back pocket carry. Any issues with sitting other than "Ruger" getting tattooed in to your ass cheek?

This holster was made by a friend of mine. I love it and it is very practicable! Every other one that I have seen that was like it doesn't have the mag holster in it.

My suggestion is to find someone who does leather work and have them make one for you. I could send you guys the measurements and that should help.
