Benelli RI Rifle
I am looking into buying the Benelli R1. I was wondering what kind of accessory people are getting out of them. I am looking at the 30-06 or the 300 mag. If you have one tell me what you think and how accurate it has been for you.

I think you mean "accuracy". To be honest, I don't know. I'd Imagine it should shoot no worse than 2 MOA, which is acceptable accuracy for a 300 yard deer rifle. I'm sure they are nice rifles, if they are typical Benelli, but I just can't get past the over-the-top Eurotrash styling to buy one.

My browning BAR .270 is one sweet semi auto, quite sure it'll outshoot many bolt actions... (1/2 MOA)
My .300 win mag is a bolt, maybe it's all in my mind, but when I think of a magnum I think of a bolt, not a semi auto, I think browning might also make a semi auto in 300WM...though I rarely see them semi autos in .300 or .338 WM...
So with that thinking, I'd consider the R1 in a '06, but probably look to a bolt if I wanted a .300 WM.
