Default Ruger Red Label O/U Shotgun

The people that has them how do you like them? I am planning on getting one in a 20ga. with the 26" barrel. This gun seems to come up to the shoulder will on me. Looking for an upland gun to hunt with a pointer dogs. This will be my first O/U shotgun. Been hunting with the Remington 870. Thanks.

That is the one I have. I like it a lot. Good quality shotgun....a little heavy for an upland gun, but other than that is works very well.

I looked one over when they first came out many moons ago.I fell in love with the way it fit me but couldn't afford it back then.As much as I'd still like to have one I just don't do enough upland bird hunting to justify the cost.

I have an older model Red Label that is my favorite for small game. It has fixed chokes, full and modified with 28" barrels and handles like a dream. The balance is so perfect and the length of pull fits me to a "T" I've never had any problems with the gun and it's still tight after years of hunting and occasional trap shoots. You stated that it comes up to your shoulder nice. That's a good fit and a good fit is the base for accurate, well placedshots.
