I do a lot of waterfowling and the Remington 870 is a great pump with a good price attached. I have a 3 1/2 super mag, but will tell you I rarely use 3 1/2" any more, simply not required for my style of hunting over coys. You can get the 3" mag version for a decent price and believe it would be plenty of gun for your hunting situations. (We mostly hunt geese and 3" BB is all that is required to pull down these birds, so i am sure it would be adequate for turkeys as well)

The Rem. 870 is very dependable. Don' t count Mossberg 835 out though. I own both and am equally pleased.

Check out the Bennelli Nova.Compare the weight differance againist the other shotguns.Go to a gun store and an see yourself how well the Nova handles.Check out all the differant features the Nova has to offer. If it dose' nt point faster , shot quicker, and have less recoil then any of the others, plus cost less then buy what ever.
