RE: What would you recommend
Hey HnI visitor, This is only my opinon but I own a very dependable Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag 12 gauage 28 inch cammo shotgun, has 4 different chokes, not including an extra comp n choke, and I am going to tell you, this is one rugged dependable shotgun. It shoots 2.75, 3 inch and 3.5inch shells any way you want and any load you put in it. It is extremely accurate, and can reach out and slam. I hunt the swamps of south Louisiana for waterfowl, other small game and turkey in Livingston Parish. You will love the feel and rugged ability of the Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag.To me it rules, both in the field and in your wallet. This is my opinion.

RE: What would you recommend
I recently bought a 870 wingmaster with the rem-choke and it shoots the 3" shells . It was used but in very good condition ,listed at the sale at 85% which isn' t bad at all . Total cost including the background check was $229.00. They had a couple of other one that went for close to that price . halcon

RE: What would you recommend
Hey Visitor,
I use a 10 gauge single shot to turkey hunt and a remington 1100 to duck hunt with some of my fellow duck hunters prefer pumps I prefer a semi-automatic. I suggest buy two guns. REMEMBER THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEN AND BOYS ARE THE PRICE OF THERE TOYS! See you in the woods!:D:D |
RE: What would you recommend
I don' t hunt turkeys, but I do alot of waterfowl hunting, and I use a Remington 870 Wingmaster. If I were buying a new gun today, it would be the exact same one. My 870 is a work horse. I can' t even begin to try to guess how many rounds I put through it every year, but it is still a very dependable gun. With being able to fire 3" shells through it, I don' t see why it would not make a fine turkey gun as well.
