20 ga Slug Recommendation

I just purchased a 20 ga Remington 870 Express with a rifled barrel and a cantilever scope mount. Can anyone recommend a deer slug that works well with this setup?

This shotgun's rate of twist isn't fast, you may get better results from slugs as Lightfields, and/or Buckhammers. I notice that Lightfields seem to work well in most shotguns

Hornady SSTs have worked for me. Shoot real good 2 inch groups at 100 yards, Bang flopped a 8 pt last year. at about 40 yards.

I love Barnes Bullets in Federal, but I would try a multiple loads and shoot what's best out of your gun!

Just read an article in NRA and the article shows the new Remington Premier AccuTip slug shooting very good out of the rifled barreled870 they tested. 23" barrel 1:35" twist.

Hornday sst i and my son shoot them out of rem. 870--1100 both rifled barrels, he got a nice deer last year at about 130yds. went about 40 ft. I got a few from 35 to 100 plus ydsthey just plain work.
