Remington Model 870
Can anyone tell me if I can just buy any barrel for a Model 870 and put on mine and use it. I think I can but would like to make sure before I buy a barrel. Also does anyone know where there is some good web sites where a person can pick up a barrel for this gun fairly cheap (under $150.00)?

Midway, Cabelas and some of the other online retailers carry replacement barrels for the 870. I know I' ve seen Remington, Mossberg and Hastings. There are probablly more. You' ll need to get the right chambering though. I.e. a barrel chambered for a 3.5 " round won' t cycle in an action designed for 3" rds..
