If its brand new you may not need a trigger job they are getting better at that. The rest of the rifle is built like a tank ,it will last you a life time with proper care.Good luck!!

I love my M77 MKII sporter (stainless/laminate) in 7mm Rem Mag. Like everyone else said, I'd like to get my trigger worked on, but everything else about it it great. It's an attractive, strudy rifle that shoots plenty good for what I use it for.

well i have this same gun with a bushnell scope as well. mine has been great to me, shoots very well and the 7 mag will drop a deer like it is its job, which i guess it is.lol. They are great guns and very rugged and will last forever if you take care of it, me personally i could never change from this gun i love it so much. the triggers are a little rough but if you dont want to have to trigger fixed it will still be fine because i know for sure that i was able to align my scope very well and i havent missed a deer with it yet.

I've seen many guys call the 7mm Rem. mag as a very overrated round. Some guys love'em clearly. If I'm going to step it up from a .270 or .30-06 to a mag, a 7mm kinda feels like a light mag to me, and less you're going for elk with it, why carry such a big gun for a muley? a .270 or some other short mag will do fine. And for elk the biggest 7mm is 175gr? though I think 160gr is the ideal bullet for a 7mm, I say .300 wing mag I'd take over a 7mm rem. mag.
