RE: Single shot rifles
[blockquote]quote: ORIGINAL: bigpapa I'm thinking of getting a single shot for my next rifle any suggestions out there as to where to start looking? [/blockquote] Would one of these be in the picture?: http://www.blaser.de/K-95-Characteristics.114.0.html?&L=1 There seem to be a few folks who are pretty high on 'em. I handled one a few weeks ago at a gunshop..it was chambered in 7mm Rem Mag 3500 dollars but it has to be in the top 3 as far as quality single shots. |
RE: Single shot rifles
ORIGINAL: deer_predator I would vote for the CVA Optima "Elite". You will have a wide selection for just about any application you would like. Anywhere from 12 gauge to 222 all the way up to 300 win mag, or 45-70. Barrels for the gun run around $200. Best of all, the barrels for all Elites are Bergara barrels. The gun itself can be picked up with the calibre you desire for around $350, and (in my opinion) shoot just as well as the expensive TC's. |
