Default Federal - Powershock Ammo

Has anyone used these on Whitetails. I'm just wondering how they perform. They shoot really well in my Rem 700 XCR in .30-06. I was shooting 1/2"groups today @ 100 yardswith150 gr. ammo that costs $11.00 a box. My rifle and my wallet really like them.

I Have used those for years in my 270. They group great and your wallets loves them...the deer arent gonna care much for em though! They do a fine job on deer.

Yep, they've been tested out of my cousin's 300 Win Mag at 220 yards and they did a fine job on a big doe last year. I find them to be most accurate out of my gun too, probably because Im recoil sensitive and they don't kick as bad as something like an accubond. They cost $15 here and I can only find them at Gander Mountain.

I shot federal classic's for years after having trouble with winchester not wanting to expand(that was back in eariler 90's)--i don't know the numbers offhand but quite a few have died to them o% lost. And I maybe wrong but I think the power-shock took the classic's place-shoot the same in my guns with the same results---Bought about 15 boxes last year at wal-mart for different cal. paid a whopping 9.99$ a box!!

Head over to federals web site they have a mail in rebate form. buy two boxes of federal blue box ammo and get $10 back. Now thats a great deal on some ammo. They also have rebates for shirts for the fusion ammo line. and rebates for the premium. ps I just sighted in my 7mm remington mag with the 175 grain blue box federal and I love it.

My local Cabela's had this stuff on sale for $9.99/box; I bought two boxes, am getting a $10 rebate; works out to about $5.50 a box, net. Can't beat that, even if I just use it for sighting-in and general practice.
