Federal Fusion Ammo (30-06)
#2

I shot some out of my 30/30 Ackley to fire form brass. I was quite impressed with how well it shot out of my 94 Winchester. I shot a few cull does with it (in standard 30/30 to boot) that same year it came out. Put it where it belongs and you'll have a dead deer in a pile. Great bullet for a VERY reasonable price.

Excelent ammo , consistent groups .
Only complaint is the brass is not the best when it comes to auto loaders.
My Rem 742 was damaging the cases where the bolt grabs the case.
Winchester and Rem brass had no problems only the fusion loads .
Tried other federal loads no problem .
This problem is only with my auto loader , ihave 4 other bolts in 06 and had no issues .

As far as the bullet goes it is a perfect whitetail bullet especially with high velocity close range hits. It has wide expansion

Ive herd good things about them. I shot some in a friends 30-06 at some cans up the mountains and they did well. If he is using them they must have good groups He is a accuracy nut like me. He wont hunt with a gun unless it has under 1in groups at 100 yards.
