Just bought my 30.06at walmart saturday. Using core lokt 150 gr. it shot 5 shots in a rowwith all holes touching. I nor my father have never seen a stock rifle this accurate. It was amazing! We spent all daysat and sun bragging to people about it.I got a Simmons 3-9x50 scope on it. bore sighted it, and within 4 shot had it locked in at 100 yds, all bullet holes touching each other (all five holes within about 3/4"). Why would anyone buy anything else?

The atr 100 in stainless / syn. is about 315.00 - 320.00. I just bought one in .270.

The 4x4 also has a detatchable box magazine. The stainless syn. is available in limited numbers , and the stainless / laminate should be available soon. Maybe a month or so ( as per Mossberg ) . The 4x4 stainless /. syn. sells for about 350.00 - 370.00 depending where you buy it... the stainless / laminate model will be a little more... A great gun for the money.

I will also get the stainless / laminate 4x4 when it comes out....

This thread answered all the questions I was going to ask about buying the 100 ATR. A local retailer Uncle Lee's has the gun for $244.99. I'm going to get one today.
