How do you like the way it shoots?
My first range outing resulted in frustration, as the scope rings came out of the mounts, & I had to take it back to Bass Pro for them to replace the rings & remount the scope correctly.
Since that time, I've shot at least a box each of:
Hornady 139 SST
Remington 120 HP
Remington 140 Core Lokt
Federal 140 NP
Federal 140 Accubond
Winchester 140 Silvertips
Nothing has grouped under 3", with most at 4" to 5". The rings and bases are tight, and the groups of each kind of ammo print to the same place each time.
I wanted badly to blame myself, but I'd shootother guns while letting the Savage cool, and I'd print 3/4" groups repeatedly with my Remington 700.
I'm nearly at the point of sending it back to Massachusetts to see what they can do with it. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd certainly welcome them.

i have the savage 7mm-08 package (think its the 110???), awsome rifle. It was honestly the most accurate rifle i ever shot out of the box. it has endured alot of abuse with the weather in the midwest. Love this rifle. Came with a simmons (cheapy) scope 3x9 and sling. Love the caliber as well.
