is .45-70 worth it

45-70, yea they are nice for plinking pop cans on sunny summer days

The 45/70 held the distance record in Army test(sandy hook). 2 miles and still penetrated 6 inches of wood and went 9 inches into the ground.

My Friend : If you have never shouldered a 45/70, you've never lived.
The sheer pleasure or fireing such an nostalgic pieceof history is quite unique. depending on the load, it will eather push you or punch you. the wide range of loads are unexaustable.
I own 2 at this time and am looking for another in a side by side.
the first is a sharps ,34 in. tube. next is the 1895 guide gun. which is going to be my primary piece for bear in canada this spring!
I realy can't say enough about this RELIC, BUT I damn sure love em. GB 50
