Default .500 Smith & Wesson

I saw this handgun for teh first time in my life while I was in Maine, I handled it, and I just imagined how it must be shooting it. My uncle has one...not sure if he's shot it or not. Has anyone taken on this beast? I want to know more about it. Thanks

Very comfortable to shoot. Its wieght and break really helps it out to be more shootable. I opted for the 460 Smith. Little flatter out to 200 yards. And the 200gr SST's are a breeze to shoot.

I love shooting my S/W 500. As for recoil it gets a little heavy when you feed 700 gr. lead through it, but it is a kick in the butt.

A buddy of mine got one a few months ago. It made me giggle when I shot it.LOL Not bad at all really, but I was expecting it to be much worse.

I love my 500. It really goes boom, especially in an indoor range. It is so exciting to shoot the thing indoors. Watching the responses from the other shooters, I can’t even put into words.
