I'm looking for a bolt action .22. The shop owner shows me a CZ .22 rimfire for $199.00 (not the heavy barreled one). Didn't want to pay quite this much for a .22 but my question is should I go back and get it? Price is definitely a factor.

Unless you want a very accurate .22 that won't break the bank.

Brutal attack has a point on following the rules but I might have used a more cordial tone. Course it is hard to read tone in a post.
Anyway, the CZ is an awful lot of gun for 200 bucks. These are good mid priced 22's
If 200 is too much, look at some Savages and Marlins, or used stevens (savage made these). Marlins model 25 is a great gun. and youcan find them for 100-150 used.
Savage makes the Mark II and it should be cheap too. Bith of these guns are very good shooters.
But I would choose a CZ over these

How about a Ruger M77/22 about the same price as the CZ.

CZ will outshoot the Ruger 77/22 all day long...
