what are the good and bad things about
hornady 30-30 lever evolution ammo. how does this ammo shoot.

I can't say about that particular caliber 's ammo, but I shoot the Hornady Custom 139's out of my 7mm Rem Mag and it gives me one ragged hole @ 100 yds when I do my part.
I don't handload because of that. I'vefound Hornady and Federal Premium offering the best two on the market for accuracy and consistency.

The Hornady 170's shoot very well in my 94. As well or better than Rem & Win.

Big advantage isa much more streamlined bullet. Might add another 50 or so yards ofeffective range.

i have been interested in hearing about this ammo from Hornady....i have an older 30/30 bolt action i assume this ammo will do well in this gun too
