Can't help you with loads I don't own an '06. I do own a 7600 in .35 Whelen, with handloads I get 1 1/2" groups at 100 yds. Plenty accurate enough. I'd be happy to get 1" groups out of any rifle with factory ammo.

If its a 1" group at 100yards well then Merry Christmas your ready to hunt. I dont care what type of rifle it is bolt lever etc... 1" group= confidence on any shot you take.

Mine shot really well with the Federal Blus box ammo in 150 grains. They are loaded with Speer Grand Slam bullets. You have a great and very dependable rifle there. I have had four of them. They would all shoot 1 1/2 inch groups or better with almost anything I ever tried for ammo. They would all hol one inch with their best loads.

i own one in a 30-06 and before i put the scope on it i shot remington cor-lokt 15gr with iron sights and shota .4" group at a bit over 50yds and i think thats phenomenal for iron sights. I havent tried the groups at 100 yrds with the scope but i think it should shoot tight groups.
