My Sig is named Siggy(original huh?), my Rem 700 VLS is named Hilary, and the others I never thought about.

My .270 Winchester is named the .270. The 444 Marlin is named the 444, My 30-06 is named the 30-06, the shotguns are named either Winchester 12 ga or Mossberg 12 ga, My .338 RUM is named the 338 ultra, so on and so on.


I don't see much point in naming something that isn't going to either answer or come to you when you call its name.

I do have a confession. I just traded this truck. And I feel like I have lost my best dog. Mossyoak can fill you in on what a great truck it was. Well he actually laughed at me driving up, but duct tape held the bumper on. But anyway, I had this truck for over17 years. It was a little toyota pickup. I called it blackie. Well I forced the dealer to give me 600 dollars for it to make me feel better this tuesday. It had over 500,000 miles on it. But I was 20 when I named it. But I have another truck, and another car,so it gets confusing.So I bascially called them by thier color. Anyway, after blackie, I don'tplan on getting sentimental about anymore cars. Also, first harley was Holly the Hog. But now, I just call my hog, a moneypit. But its worth it.
