Right now it's the only place that it does fit. I not only like the idea, but I'd like to see the gun forum broken down even more. Shotguns, handgun, etc..
Actually a gunsmithing forum is no different than the Technical forum under Archery. I understand that the people who created HNI concentrated on Archery, but the thing that makes this site better than the others is because all aspects of hunting are covered. Expanding on the gun section would only make this site better, as well as reducing the needs of our members to go elsewhere for the info thats missing here. We've lost lots of great members due to problems in the past and HNI has made a great effort to correct the problems that existed, I think that adding a few more categories would be a simple fix compared to updating the servers and software.
