if money is tight then id look at parker over horton and some of the other cheaper brands. Back in the old days barnett crossbows were considered junk but they may be better now. If you got the coin id look at some of the newer models from bowtech etc.....tenpoints are usually considered top of the heap but expensive. Im currently shooting an excalibur mag, great bow but a little heavy and unwieldy.

I feel your pain, got both shoulders screwd up, the Doc. won't repair bad ticker. I would like to find some thing that would help my left arm to hold it up when i'm trying to shoot gun or crossbow.
