Default Hunting in Wyoming for the disabled:

I don't know how most states are, but Wyoming has addressed the disabled hunter by implementing regulations that make it much easier, and therefore more attractive, to hunt here.
For instance, a Qualified disabled person can legally hunt from a stationary vehicle, except aircraft, for any big or trophy game animal. Birds, small game included. That could be a pickup, ATV, or whatever. Can't shoot from or accross a road though.
In 2003 our legislation also passed this regulation:

""Disabled hunters will get an assist with “disabled hunter companion permits.” A person with this free permit can kill and retrieve an animal that a disabled hunter has wounded. ""

So a companion can assist in the harvesting of your game.

I'd like to see more outfitters "specialize" or at least offer some kind of hunt for the disabled.

Hi leep,

To answer your question, right now I am living in Tioga County in Pine Creek Valley. "The Grand Canyon Of Pennsylvania". One of the most beautiful places in the commonwealth.
