Some state stats for the contest. Check it out.
Well this for sure isn't scientific at all. I went through the harvest post adding up all the scores for the top 4 states. I could only count the ones who had a state in their info so I am sure this is not 100% correct.
Here is what I came up with:
PA 9 deer for aprox 610 inches. avg of aprox 68 inches.
IL 6 deer for aprox 645 inches. avg of aprox 108 inches.
OH 6 deer for aprox 653 inches. avg of aprox 109 inches.
KS 3 deer for aprox 433 inches. avg of aprox 144 inches.
And the state awards go to.........
PA for harvesting the most bucks.
OH for the highest cumulative score.
KS for highest overall average score.

That's interesting, my one horner was above the average. I wonder how that PA data specs up to how many PA hunters were here vs other states.....we do have alot ya know....or if it's cause our buck herd is up?.....HHhhhmm...

That would be WV with a 2 deer average at 52 1/2 inches.
