Reading through this thread, I could here in the back of my mind Al Gore crying about all the votes being counted.

I didn't say that to tic anyone off. I just think this entire thread is a little odd.

Anyway, contest still open..... I'm not celebrating until the bell rings. If we lose it, well, that's ok too. It's been fun.

It's unfortunate you feel that way Bob because I just heard from Spot Light and he said he has not been getting our messages and feels bad that his buck has not been entered. He is gonna get back to me with what pics he has and I am sure this will be done BEFORE the contest closes.


I have to say that I am VERY disappointed in the response this thread has recieved. If I had not started this thread and followed through like I have we would NEVER have gotten Spot Lights buck recognized.

It doesn't matter at all if it makes a difference in the standings one way or the other. In my opinion EVERYONE should have been in favor of doing what we could to get this buck counted...........after all I thought that was what the contest was all about.

Instead I got a lot of comments about "crying" and "whining" and everything in between as if I (and Team 7) were trying to do something dishonest.

Funniest thing of all is that the harshest comments all followed the same opening quote of "I don't really care who wins but........"

I can't figure out why you would think a thread trying to make sure all bucks killed get counted is "odd"

For crying out lound atlasman, stop your dang whinning. I have been quiet long enough. I do believe the rules were posted for us all to abide by, failure to abide by the rules of any competion results in penalities. We all knew up front what the rules were before we entered the contest and what gives you the right to change the rules at the end of the season. Read em and weep. I WILL MORE THAN LIKELY NOT ENTER NEXT YEAR. You do what ever it takes to win bubba, its just not that importantant to me. I play by the rules that were posted at the beginining of the contest. Has anyone suggested breaking the rules??

Again.........with the comments in this thread you would think that TEAM 7 was doing something wrong. The contest is open until Feb 15th. Bucks can be entered up to that date correct??

What is the problem??


I don't understand this reaction. If someone on your team tells you tomorrow that they killed a buck wouldn't you enter it??


Why don't you want Spot Lights buck counted??

Don't kill the messenger pal............I just started the thread for our team.

If anyone should be worried about the way they represented their team it is you for blasting away at others for doing nothing wrong........mixed in with saying you don't really care of course :eek:

Im with ya Atlas. I Do not see the fault in this? Yes I am apart of Team 7, but winning means very little. I would just like to see all animals counted in the way that the rules said they should have been.


Whomever the winner may be, congradulations to them. I just feel that credit should be given where it was due. Spot Light may not even have Valid Photos, so be it. As long as the opportunity to enter his TROPHY was there.

And 121553, Why such the outlash? Like atlas has stated, what rules have we infringed upon? NONE. The Tourney end was never specified completely until this thread was brought about.

I'm all about letting hte guys score be counted, but next year, we need to set a time limit after a deer is killed that it must be entered by. This has gotton crazy.

No Offense Josh Keller, but there is no plausible way to set a time limit, unless something that is dated can be shown in photo? But otherwise, good suggestion :)
