Patience!
Many seasons don't come in until October 1st. Besides, most of the bigger bucks will be taken near or in the rut. In my case, I won't even take a shot at anything less than a minimum Pope & Young class buck this season.

I took my MANDATORY doe on Saturday. NJ is "Earn a Buck".. A doe must be harvested first before a buck can be taken. Stalked within 15yds of her. Only shot I had was the neck. Dropped her in her tracks... I'm ready for antler.......

patience ladies..the first weekend in wisconsin was in the 80's. Through 2 days I layed my eyes upon 6 different bucks! Either to far away, or the ones that were close were too small. Bring on the COLD!
