Hey we're set. Logo looks great. When do you all get out for your first hunt? I don't go until the end of October but I may get out sooner for more of a practice run.

I will be hunting in 19 days. As for moss33oak and his rants, I can shoot better with my 1 good eye than he can with his 2 good eyes...;) Looks like I wont be showing mossy any more of my secret spots for the MD hunt, hes on his own from here on out. Glad you guys like the logo, I think we have the best name/logo out there.

How do I attach the LOGO to my signature?

Right click on the logo, click on properties, copy the address(URL), then go to your profile at the top of the page. Scroll down to signature, click image, then paste the URL in between......like this..... .

guys I have tried to incorperate that logo in my signature but have no ideal how to make it work. I tried to follow the instructions on the previous page but I am so computer illiterate, can someone explain it real simple or help me incorperate it. Thanks, dumb-arse Bobby [:@]

RE: Official Team "The Elite 8" (8) Thread

121553, I'm not on your team but I'll try and help you out. First scroll to the top of the screen and click on My profile. Once this screen loads scroll down until you see signature. In the field to the right type

But be sure that there are no spaces anywhere. ( I left a space at the beginning so it would show the text rather than the pic)

Then check the box that says always attach signature to posts. Then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click OK and you should be finished. Good luck.

Got it, thanks bearlr for your help, I was overlooking that slash mark within the last brackets of image, I just could not figure it out and you guys want me to post a picture of my pick this year? Ha that is going to be funny, it will take me longer in figuring out how to post it than to bag a monster buck, how about if you all just accept my word when I tell you I got a 200 incher ;) Bobby

Thanks for the emails with addresses guys. The "secret weapon" will be mailed out within 2 weeks.:)

I was out scouting again last night. I saw a couple of great bucks. Both out of velvet one was a nice young 8 point 120 class and he was with a 150-160 class I would guesstimate. I could not tell if he was a 10 or a 12 but he was a real bruiser. Awesome mass and width. He stayed in the thick stuff while 10 does and fawns were out in the field. OH MAN I cant wait!

Sorry for the late chack in. I was on vacation marlin fishing with the family, gotta earn those points for the upcoming season. I am ready to stick'em here in VA. Season starts here on 4 October and I have a couple of nice ones already picked out.

Glad to here your back! How was the marlin fishing? Good i hope! And i am also hoping you can stick one of those nice ones this yr.

RE: Official Team "The Elite 8" (8) Thread

Marlin fishing was great. I caught my first ever white marlin. Guesstimate of about 60 lbs. Just an average size. There were five of us that went and we only hooked up on 3 of 5 fish. They weren't very cooperative last week. Oh well, that's why they call it fishing and not catching. Now that the fishing is over it's time to get down to business. Season will be on us rapidly and I can't wait. Goose season starts 1 Sept, Dove starts 4 Sept. Deer starts 4 Oct. I should have one by the end of the first week (doe), I'll be waiting on the ones I've been seeing before I stick a buck. I don't want to put up a small number for my buck.

RTA47 08-30-2004 07:33 AM

RE: Official Team "The Elite 8" (8) Thread

Same here! Our season starts her sept-11 but i will most likely be taking a ( doe );) the 1st or 2nd week. I will most likely get my best buck around nov-dec some where in there. But you never know maby sooner But that is around the time i get my best buck`s;) I would like to wish all my teammate The best of luck and a safe hunting season!

O2B, having done a back ground cheque and processing your resume we welcome you. ;)
Gutshot, If I can do it, anyone can. Hang in there.
Season starts this Saturday guys, Sept. 4 as I been out scouting the mountain side, been seeing some descent 5pters but my concentration is on elk as I'll be persuing them mostly in Sept. I had two cows and a raggety bull within range today, as there starting to be very vocal. I've got some nice oppururtunity for mulies or whities out here come the time, but I got to get my elk first, sorry guys, but I'll keep ya posted, good luck, ;) Bobby

121553, I'm glad I passed your test. I only hope I can live up to the test. Just to let you know I could have killed a 18-20 in wide six pointer yesterday. I was out hanging a couple of stands and decided to sit in one after I hung it. Not 25 min after I put it up 3 does and the big 6 cam in within 10 yards of the stand heading out to the corn filed 25 yards away. It will be a chip shot for my stnad. He is n't the only one in there either. I've seen a nice tall 8 and a massive 10 pointer in this same small patch. I think it will be a good season.

Good luck with the elk.

Sept 4 the only thing I can hunt is doves and geese, and believe you me I will be out and dusting both of them.

Good luck to all this season and lets put up some good numbers.

I'm back now. I just spent 5 days doing the most intense fishing in my life. I was 300 miles offshore south of San Diego catching big, big fish. I recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys fishing offshore. I'll warn you that it will ruin you for doing any other type of offshore trips.

Now that I back I'm ready for the rut.

Sounds like we are ready to go. Us MD boys have 12 days to go, saw 4 bucks last night at one of my spots, 1 decent shooter.

RE: Official Team "The Elite 8" (8) Thread

Alright, thanks for the support guys, my time is going to be limited coming in here but I've got 9 treestands scattered here in the bush as well as some ambush spots set aside, I be gone until after next week hunting mostly for elk and glassin for some mulies, we actually got dusted with a skiff of snow at the 5,500 ft elev, the weather was down right nasty, when last year this time we were in 3 digit temps(f).
Good luck team and don't take any trash talkin from that wannabe team #4. ;) Bobby
