that really stinks day!

There is a farm here that kills countless deer due to having a farm , but they dont use the meat or nething , just shoot them , and add them to a pile , and the commision wont do squat about it ! They say taht it is ok due to how big of a farm and the damage it sustains!

I might be heading to Kansas...

Been planning a trip to hunt in the fable south west corner of Kansas for a while an was notfied this week that if I wanted to go the last weekend of October and into November, there was a spot available. Trying to get it all together, but might just be too awesome to pass up.

Is it the first deer you take, or can I pick one to enter?? Good luck to all you that have an opener this weekend!!!!!

It's the first deer that you shoot. I am having the same problem too. I will hunt two states and my goals aren't as high for PA. I know there are some good bucks there but I won't be over there as much as home. In PA anything over 100 I will take.

yea it is the first buck that you take ... doe dont count!

buckey.... yea PA has some nice deer , we have a few 120-130 class deer on the property we hunt , its only 90 acres tho.... they are out there you just gotta find em!

I cant wait til saturday tho , got all my stands ready to go for sat. and camo washed , hunting pack washed , filled with supplies , and read to go , still shooting the bow even tho it is on , just to keep up the muscles and the repitition .... all i need now , is some sex scent when the magic time gets closer , and the season to open , and ill have my buck!!!

23 more hours and your deer will start hiding on you. Forget all that scouting you've done. Forget all that work you put in your platform. The big ones are getting ready to leave your area. You know how that works. The squirrels are getting ready to take over.

Ya that would be par for the course ;)

Last year a buddy and I started patterning a monster drop tine in late August. Knew what time he'd take a dump. Saw him opening week but before legal light. The next time we saw him, he was on the cover of a local paper - was shot a couple miles away during the rut.

So hows that SORE membership coming along? Got my plaque all shined up yet? ;)
