No rush Kelly,

we know you will come thru . just like the two teams that have had people score already... its early in the season... let all the GOOD hunters get out into the woods and we will see what happens! go ILNYPAKY-EH!

Buck magnet, whats your speed with that setup? im just currious.. do you have a quiver attached to the bow? im trying something new i think the less weight i have the better.. i bought a catquiver this year and will be using it to cary my arrows. it has a puoch for stuff so i dont have to have a backpack anymore

Man I can't get over how hot it is here today,24c (78f) and still climbing.Whats going on with the weather, last week we almost froze with the north wind and this week we are sweating like pigs-lol.
I like everyones setups, and daystalker I will be adding a catquiver to my arsenal to.I dont like the added weight to my bow.
Haz--I already thanked you for the pic and sticker,so now i would like to take this time and thank the wife.
IL_BOW----thanks for checking on the logo, saved me some time, looks like only one team can do it right the first time afterall
Buck----our setup is almost the same its almost scarry, except that yours is the liberty and mine the pat vft.
Kcison----good luck out there,I think you are the only one on the team hunting now.Have you seen that big 8 you were hunting?
Well sorry guys for not being on here as much as i wanted but with work, and family and my young guys hockey practice,it makes it difficult at times.
We all should go on "chat" or MSN or something and do some talking,I think it would be fun, maybe get to know each other a little better.
Till next time all,take care

carpmaster,
im going carp hunmting in about 3 hours
Jbra, tribal, and PLB have each scored bucks already. i dont know what Jbra's buck will score right around 100" I think. but the picture doesnt do it justice im sure. then Tribals deer might get into the 120's but again its a photo also. and from PLB, i belive that he said he got a 58" mulie which is about 50" whitetail. so that is what we have for compitition.

Buck magnet did you ever take a picture of that setup yet?

i have a good feeling about Kelly this weekend. something tells me he will get something very soon!

does it mean you are addicted to bow hunting when you try to sneak the latest bowhunting issue or field and stream issue into the bathroom for long extended #2 breaks?
even if the wife tells you repeatidly not to?

Hey guys, I finally got the pic of my set-up today and I am gonna post it here for you guys.....

extreme, I am getting right around 275 f.p.s. with my bow now. I have a Alpine Soft Loc 5 arrow quiver on the bow, but I will be taking the quiver off while hunting!

Here is the pic..... notice my team sticker on my top limb!

O yeah, almost forgot,

Last night I helped install a stereo system in my best friends new truck (2003 Ford Ranger FX4 Level II) and on the way home almost smacked a buck. It ran out of the prison's parking lot right back into my property, it was a nice wide 8 pt. (Yes, my hunting land is between a airport and a prison)

Buck, you like the simmons string leaches? i think the ones from Bowtech were great to begine with.. its a really quiet bow.. i woudl venture to say that its probabaly quieter than some of the mathews i have shot. and about 10times quiter than my old PSE's

nice setup.. is that the hat you got from asat? did you send in for your Bowtech hat? hmmmm? i never did get an asat hat...

talk about a LONG stabilizer... if the deer dont die soon enough club em with that thing!

i think i might have to actually strap myself into my chair tonight after bow fishing, and relax.. its so hard with season only 8 days away! grrrrrrrrrrr

day,

The string leech's work about the same as the factory BowTech hust kit. I had a pack laying around and decided to just put them on the bow instead of buying more of the BowTech string silencers!

I had to order the ASAT hat from their web-site. It is their Bucksuede version and is a very comfy hat!

The stabilizer is a 8" Stealth Hunter and it is long, but that thing helps so much out at long ranges. I noticed big improvements between 40-55 yards with that stabilizer compared to the 4" Stealth I had on it before! Not to mention that it took more vibration out!

In a little while here, I am gonna go watch some deer! One of my stands is set-up on a trail that divides a x-mas tree patch and the big woods. Right above the x-mas trees is a huge berry patch that the deer have been hitting, and I hope to see what is hanging out in that area!
