My uncle comes down for ever smokepole hunt after christmas , they have access to private land down there , it seems that only one guy ever gets a deer , and they r the size of bucks i pass here in PA!

Took the plunge friday, bought a LONE WOLF hand climber, this is the final element I needed in order to get to where the BIG BOY hangs out.
As Oct. 1st gets nearer I only feel more sorry for the other teams.

well yesterday i finished my stand location ,and another spot as well,next time i visit that area will be opening morning.I am also bying a new stand next weekend to place in another honey hole on a different piece of property.

Well this weekend didnt go as well as i thought it would have [:@] stolen stand... and a bunch of markes taken down.. ON PRIVATE land that my father-in-law OWNES... he told me no one else has permission to be out there. grrrrrrrrr

back on track. i was thinking, that we have some sort of CHEK-IN / UP-DATE once a week. i think its a good idea especially once teh season starts up, lets us know where we are at in the runnings, and helps us to keep the team comrodery (sp) up. i think also to psyche out all the compitition. what do you all think?

I'll check in...been busy with work, but did some scouting and last night, saw the big 8 that I've been watching for a couple of evenings and this morning on my way to my truck to leave, two huge bucks, one being the big 13 was thirty yards from the woods where my stand is hanging for opening morning...this Saturday. All were still in velvet, but he's a great deer. This is going to be a long week.
