I got one!Well a doe that isOct 20th I headed for my morning stand, that I had hunted the night before. On my way out the night before I sprayed an area near my stand with dominant buck lure.Anyhow on my way to the stand before sun up as I approached I stepped on a branch and it made a loud snap[:@]I paused and after I proceeded, and stepped on another and snap again[:@][:@]This time I surely got busted because I heard that familiar blow from a deer then heard him/her exit[:@]Well I thought I'll stick it out maybe he/she will be back.I stayed 5hrs and didn't see any deer, only a fox, some coons and squirels.I got down and thought that I would do some scouting for my evening hunt.I found a rub on a tree branch that was taller than me(6'5")anyhow.I have been after this bruiser buck in our woods for two or three years now and figure that was the buck that busted me this morning.Anyhow I went back in the afternoon to another stand and had a dandy doe walk right down the horse trail in front of me.When I drew, My stand made a noise she looked up at me then finally relaxed and made a couple more steps.I released and sent an arrow from 15 yards. She bolted through some thick briars and I wondered how the heck I would ever get her out of them.Well she didn't expire there, she ran through some more thick stuff and just as it got dark I finally found her pilled up on an open trailI praised God and thanked him for giving me this chance to put some meat in the freezer as I always do.I've killed alot of does, but this was the biggest I have ever taken,I would guess she weighed about 200lbs or so.I have to get me a game scale.Anyhow I thought I would share how I did. That day off from work was well spentNow I'm going to let the area cool off a bit and go after that big dude.

Hey guys.....

I've been out there giving it my best. I have only seen one teeny tiny doe (li'l thing crossed 25 yards from my stand too!). I really really had to restrain myself from drawing on her. I mean, she didnt' even know I was there! I chose to let her walk on by, because she was just a yearling and probably not much of 50-60 pounds. I remember saying under my breath to the little doe, "Go on, honey, go on and find your daddy. Bring him back here!" [8D]
