Default Broadhead questions

I'm new to the crossbow world I've shot NAP Shockwave for years with great success, my question is if I shoot them in my XBOW will they open premature and if so where should I put the second O ring to double band them? Thanks I have a Barnett Raptor fx

Not sure about the shockwaves. I shoot rages an they will prematurely open but rage makes mechanicals for crossbows. They 125 gr and have a plastic o ring

I shoot Rage in my Xbow and yes it does have that band. I like mechanicals better than fixed blade. Mechanicals fly better for me and are more consistent and are consistent with my field points. So I am not fooling around adjusting my scope. Rage also provides a practice tip so you don't waste those bands.

But I won't shoot anything unless it is Xbow certified. I won't take the chance.

I'm running the 100 grain 4 blade wac em with my Titan II. No negative feedback yet. Fly good and hit hard. Will recommend if you want to try something new. I would shoot your broadhead and see what happens and then go from there. Your bow might be able to shoot them fine.

I was wandering inside Cabelas this weekend and noticed crossbow mechanicals. No different in price from standard mechanicals so the difference is most likely in performance. Why take a chance?
