To light for pig hunting, too light for most any kind of big hunting. Cheaply made, not reliable, off shore P.O.S. You get for you pay for.

does anyone have any other opinions about the barnett recruit?

300 fps and 80lb ft/lb energy

was wondering if this would be good for boars. just looking for extra opinions

If you read more you will find the the large majority of dedicated crossbow user stay away from Barnett Those in the know go to Excalibur, TenPoint, Wicked Ridge and BowTec and some to Parker. You get what you pay for and buying cheap will bite you in the butt soon than later. Reliability, dependability ,quality, warranty and customer service also comes into play! The guys here tried to give you some good advice but it appears you didn't want thier advice!
