crossbow hunting -- new hunter
 
Hello guys! well I just got introduced to hunting. I am interested in a crossbow for boar hunting and possibly deer. I was wondering what you guys suggest? Ive been looking at ebay crossbows and barnett crossbow

Or what brand for a beginner should I get?

yep deal with him or if not, at least stick to one of the better name brands like tenpoint, excalibur, parker, etc.

Well I bought the barnett recruit. its a 130lb draw, 300ft p/sec and 80 ft lbs

seemed perfect for me. Its small light easy to draw.

question is, is it good for boar hunting?

It's a tad late to ask I'm thinking. And a tad light for pigs IMO.

Just use fixed broadheads... and dont go past 40yds..
