Crossbow choice
I don't know how to do this or I would do it myself.
Is anyone else curious about what brand of crossbow everyone shoots?
Could someone make a poll of crossbow manufactures everyone shoot?
Like:
Darton
Bowtech
Ten Point
etc etc
and then you cast your vote

Excalibur Vortex as well. Love it! Simple, Plenty of Power (for most anything in N. America), GREAT cust. service & warranty in the unlikely even you will need it. DEADLY accurate.
There are several good cb's on the market. If you want the easy maintenance a recurve has to offer, you can hardly go wrong with the Excalibur line. If you have a bowpress or don't mind having to take your bow to a shop for string string changes etc. there are some good compounds as well.
I have only owned a 2 CB's. First was a Horton RealTree 175 (okay cb), the next year I upgraded to an Excal Vortex. I didn't want to have to deal with cables, cams, etc. The only maintenance on my Vortex is keeping the trigger action (only mechanical part) lubed and waxing the string and serving. (.....and don't need a bowpress for string changes).

I will say the Barnett. Since it probably is the cheapest bow by price but, is top quality. Barnett had just came out with the Ghost 400 my father has it and loves it. He had the Barnett Penetrator before this one loved it also.
