Fletching?

What is the best length vans to use for a bolt and how far from the base should the back of the vane be?

4 inch is the all around best...their stabilize a lot better at longer ranges....I ussally Fletche myin. so the fletchings are outside the trigger box about 3 inches from the nocks.
